Eucalyptus youngiana is native to Southern and Western Australia. These magnificent gumnuts form in clusters with each bloom about 7-12cm across. A superb ornamental it likes open space. Blooms can be in salmon pink, pink or yellow. I find it irresistible. If you are in Adelaide you will find it planted in 3’s on Dequeteville Terrace at the entrance to the Adelaide Botanic Gardens Offices.
