I am fascinated by gum leaves. They are not all long in the stereotypical shape. These Webtster’s Eucalypt leaves are like little love hearts. They are also a blue green which is the colour that always draws my attention. They also have this distinctive yellow gumnut flower that the bees obviously love. Growing up with the Webster family as great friends makes the tree even more interesting to me.
